Mobile Money FAQs - REGISTRATION

1) Are there any payments to be made upon registering?

Yes. There is a registration fee charged to you only upon the successful 100 transactions. A registration fee of RM100.00 (for Retailer) or RM300(for Corporate ) plus a stamp duty of RM10.00. If the Merchant is using a NON partner bank there would be a RM10.00 inter-bank transfer fees charged monthly.

 

2) If I have 5 branches and would like to sign up all of them, what will the registration fees be?

Mobile Money will charge you 5 times the registration fees, but the stamp duty of RM10 will be only per company and not per outlet. The inter-bank transfer fees would depend on the company itself meaning if the outlets are also using the same account number then the charges for the inter-bank transfer fees would be a one charge only on a monthly basis. Under the circumstances that the main company provides us with 2 or more account numbers and all are not of our partner banks then the inter bank transfer fees would be charged for each bank account monthly.

 

3) Can I register via Mobile Money website?

You may download the application form from the website and you would need to complete the form and mail it back to Mobile Money with all the required supporting documents stated in Questions 4.

 


4) What are the necessary supporting documents required?

5) What are the requirements to register as a Mobile Money Merchant?
Any merchants with a legal business license can register with Mobile Money.



6) How do I register to be a Mobile Money Merchant?

Step 01
Download, print and fill the Merchant Application Form & Agreement .
Next, simply prepare the mandatory documents that are listed in the form. If you are not sure, always refer back to Question 4.

Step 02
Complete it and mail the form with the mandatory documents (as stated in Question 4) to Mobile Money at
