sharpphoto2.gifWhen it comes to e-commerce, a nice and sharp picture of your product speaks more than a thousand words. Online shoppers want Image Clarity, Color Accuracy, Detail, and preferably Multiple Views. The quality of your product photos convey to the buyer informational and emotional values that impact their buying decision. A good product picture easily increases browse-to-sales conversions by 10% to 15%. But how many of us actually know how to shoot a sexy product picture that makes people falls in love in first sight?

So you were thinking, It gotta be a work by the professional, or at least you need to spend thousands on state-of-the-art equipments before it’s possible to attain the goal.

Good news is, it doesn’t cost you an arm or a leg to shoot like a Pro. Surprisingly, it can be done using ONLY Sony Cybershot DSC-V1 and a cheap setup of using materials available from IKEA. Unbelievable? Prepare to be amazed. See it for yourself!

Some tips to achieving good pictures:

    >> Use of a solid non-conflicting background to emphasize the item.
    >> Using natural light if possible and taking pictures early or late in the day when lighting is best. >> Isolate the object (remove clutter around the item).
    >> Focus carefully and use the macro mode for close-up pictures. If lighting is low, then use a tripod to prevent camera shake and blurred images.
    >> Rotate images and crop.
    >> Resize images, adjust pixel count and save to the correct file type to speed uploads and downloads.
