Noticed how an e-commerce sale is “DEFINED” by US Department of Commerce?
“E-commerce sales are sales of goods and services where an order is placed by the buyer or price and terms of sale are negotiated over an Internet, extranet, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) network, electronic mail, or other online system. Payment may or may not be made online.”
Interesting, an order placed over email also considered an e-commerce sale. So have you gotten any email orders lately?

DELL, is famous for its DIRECT MODEL. If you are running a small and medium sized business, high chances you have bought at least a DELL machine for office use from it’s website. (Hey, even my 50-years old uncle bought his DELL PC online). We own a couple of Dell Machines, so far we are pretty satisfied with its performance.

In case you don’t realize, when we got back to work after the Global SME 2006 events, our office’s phone network went busted. We thought we owe Telekom some serious money (but heck, we pay on time). We checked around, we discovered that all our neighbors’ phone network was down as well. Crap, !@#!%@#% Major crisis for guys like us who relied heavily on Internet.

update: 20/1/2008, we have since support a new local payment gateway called iPay88. So now more choices for Malaysia Merchants.
